Welcome to Token Maker at token-maker.org (hereinafter "we", "our", or "Token Maker"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and free browser-based VTT token maker.
By using token-maker.org, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Token Maker lets you upload character portraits, choose decorative frames (including animated Token Stamp-style borders where available), adjust placement, and export PNG or WebP tokens for virtual tabletop games such as Roll20 and Foundry VTT.
The core token maker is free to use and, under normal operation, processes your images locally in your browser. No account is required to create and download tokens.

You are solely responsible for the portraits and custom assets you upload and for how you use exported tokens in your games or streams.
Some optional features — such as saved settings, accounts, or paid upgrades if offered — may require registration or payment. When you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
If paid features are offered, pricing and billing terms will be shown at checkout. Payments are handled by third-party payment processors. Refunds, if any, follow the policy stated at the time of purchase or as required by applicable law.
The website, token maker software, design, logos, border catalog organization, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, sell, or republish the site or its code except as allowed by these Terms.
Frames and borders provided in the tool are licensed for your personal use in creating and exporting tokens for tabletop RPG sessions, streams, and related non-commercial game use, unless otherwise stated for a specific asset. Commercial resale of raw border files or the catalog itself is not permitted.
You retain ownership of portraits and other artwork you upload. Because processing happens in your browser, we do not claim ownership of your character images. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate optional cloud or support features if you choose to use them.
If you send suggestions or feedback, you grant us the right to use it without restriction or compensation to improve Token Maker.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that exported tokens will meet every VTT platform's requirements.
Token Maker is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roll20, Foundry VTT, Wizards of the Coast, or other third-party platforms mentioned on the site.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for third-party content or services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Token Maker, its operators, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the service — including reliance on exported tokens in live games or published content.
We may suspend or restrict access to the website if we believe you have violated these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or other users. We may also modify or discontinue features at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of token-maker.org after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
